Were we work

For over 30 years we have worked hard to make sure that all resources entrusted to us are used as efficiently and effectively as possible to bring maximum impact to Refugees, homeless children and communities in need around the world.

We provides relief in emergency situations and works on long-term community development projects to assist millions of people across the Globe.

Together, this work addresses the causes of poverty and helps people to move towards self-sufficiency.

To protect refugee everywhere, we work in some of the toughest places in the around the world

UFVRA works in Australia, the Pacific and around the world to protect Refugees, homeless, children from abuse and neglect, provide access to healthcare and education and to assist them in times of emergency.

Where we work internationally

As a global organisation, in 2017 UFVRA directly reached more than 84 Thousand refugees, children in 4 countries. Our international work spans countries in Africa, Pacific Islands, South East Asia, South Central Asia and the Middle East.

Where we work in Australia

Despite Australia's wealth and high standard of living, many refugees, homeless, children struggle to reach their potential because they don't have access to education, healthcare and protection services. From early learning programs which help newly arrived migrant and refugee settle into Australia, to initiatives that help families and young children transition out of youth detention, UFVRA works to ensure the rights of all family members are upheld. We work across Australia in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Tasmania and South Australia   Below is a glimpse into how your support has helped us change the story for refugees around the global crisis.
