With 1 in every 12 UFVRA –Australia Caring for a family member or friend, UFVRA - Australia is committed to providing specialised carer and disability support services.

For 18 years, UFVRA – Australia Carers work within and value our local community, responding to unmet need with care and respect, assisting those who are disconnected through high-quality personalised support.

Our objective is to ensure you achieve your goals, enhance your relationships, and can move forward with a life based on your own decisions and choices.

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for people who have a permanent and significant disability.

​

The NDIS takes a whole of life approach to working with participants and is based around the development of individualized, flexible supports to give people the help they need at the times they need it.

The organization work in a strengths based, inclusive way aimed at supporting your needs and assisting you to achieve your goals without any problems.

​

We can provide information on how to access the scheme, and we can assist in preparing for planning meetings.

If your plan includes ‘support coordination’ our Support Coordinators can work with you to implement your plan and we can help set up your agreements with service providers.

​

Our experienced team can also provide a range of NDIS supports including

  • Improved Daily Living

  • Assistance with Daily Life

  • Assistance with Social and Community Participation

  • Transport

  • Increased Social and Community Participation

  • Home Modifications

  • Coordination of Supports

  • Improved Living Arrangements
