Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity and Inclusion

United Federation of Volunteers For Refugees Action is committed to welcoming and supporting our diverse community. UFVRA  works to protect and embrace refugees, migrants, and children seeking a new life in Australia .

We recognise that the Australian population consists of a diverse range of people with varying backgrounds, experiences, and identities. Multicultural Australia respects and values this diversity and believes in creating a welcoming and inclusive culture that promotes the wellbeing of our staff, clients, stakeholders, and the communities in which we work and live. We are committed to contributing to a community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected regardless of their ability, age, country of birth, ethnicity, faith, gender, health status, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation.

We acknowledge the benefits that diversity brings to our community, and we strive to meet the needs of all individuals that choose to use our services and work within our team.

Journey to inclusion

UFVRA  -  Australia is on a continuous journey to ensure inclusion of our diverse staff, clients, stakeholders, and communities. Our commitment is ongoing, and we will continue to work towards improvement to ensure that all people feel welcome and included at UFVRA  -  Australia.
