Our partnership with united federation of volunteer for refugees action (UFVRA) Inc provides us with the opportunity to not only save those who are most needy one but raise much needed funds for our women in crisis. UFVRA Women crisis place is such a special place and makes such a huge difference to the lives of our children and their families with family crisis. It costs our charity in excess of $1,500 per day just to maintain our current level of intervention and we can only achieve this through ongoing initiatives such as the Second hand donation (recycling scheme) promoted by UFVRA.”
UFVRA used Computers, cloths, shoes and mobile phones is a simple and effective way to complement your fundraising strategy. Furthermore, if you work with UFVRA Volunteers, they do all the administration and a collection, so all you need to do is telling your supporters about the scheme!"
Against Cancer Australia has been pleased to be a supported charity of UFVRA Fundraising By encouraging our supporters to collect computers, printers, cloths, shoe and old mobile phones we have been able to raise $16,000 in 2018.
The charity is dedicated to funding ground breaking research to improve detection and increase survival after breast cancer diagnosis. The fundraise through Community’s second hand items or recycling schemes allow us to continue making real progress in this important research.
