Our People

We are  pride ourselves on having a diverse and global team made up of nearly 160 members across the 39 countries we serve. Many of these team members /Volunteers have firsthand experience in the field, and all of them share a steadfast belief that communities are the best agents of their own change across the globe.

Our volunteers initiate our organisation. From our board to our partners in the storeroom, we're entirely volunteer run, and we're endlessly grateful for what they allow us to do. They pack hampers, make distributions, talk to clients, organise fundraisers, and most of all, they make our community stronger by assisting out those in it who are most in need. Our volunteers are too numerous to name, but thank you to everyone past and present who has played a part in making United Federation Of Volunteers For Refugees Action (UFVRA) Inc: what it is today?

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of all the lands on which we meet, work and live and recognize that this land has always been and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.www.ufvra.org.au

United Federation of Volunteers for Refugees Action pays its good wishes to the traditional custodians across the lands in which we work, and acknowledges the elders past, present and emerging.  We walk together in solidarity in the shared pain of the past and with shared hope, respect and value for the future.
